Welcome to Toronto with a YA Blue Jays Game [August 11, 2012]
Watch the Toronto Blue Jays face off against the (tentative) New York Yankees with a crowd of enthusiastic YA. This is the official welcome event for all YA who are new to the city of Toronto – that includes you, Class of 2012! We’ll be gathering at a nearby bar before the game to connect before heading to the Rogers Centre.

Run for the Cure with Toronto Queen’s Alumni and Friends

The Queen’s Young Alumni of Toronto are putting together a Run for the Cure team for alumni and friends who want to get fit, have fun and raise money for a great cause. All are welcome. Bring your friends and family out for the run. It is always a fun and rewarding experience!

The run will be on September 30, so there is plenty of time for you to sign up and get donations. To sign up or donate please visit our team page.

Thank you in advance for your support. Together we can beat breast cancer!

For more information please email team captain Alex Irving, Artsci’09, MA’10, at airving10@gmail.com

Queen’s Entertains (Welcoming YA to #Toronto) [September 16th, 2012]
YA don’t just socialize, we connect. How do you build a stronger Queen’s community in the big city? Easy, put YA in Canada’s hottest new Social Club, SPiN on King West. Yes, that means there will be Ping Pong, surprise guests, and an oily atmosphere.

Wine & Dine [September/October/November 2012]
Our sell-out Wine & Dine events continue in the Fall, when it might be too chilly to have a drink outdoors. So come on in for a three-course meal and a glass of wine.

Bills Tailgate Party [Sept/Oct 2012]
There’s nothing like a parking lot that screams “Let’s eat and celebrate football!” Queen’s YAs are crossing the border in style to take part in Bills Mania at Ralph Wilson Stadium. A Bus ride, the Buffalo Bills, a BBQ and ice cold Beer – who says summer ends in September?

Tournament of Gaels Curling Bonspiel [October 21, 2012] In its first year, this sold out event had 24 teams and over 140 participants. This year, we’re moving to the Royal Canadian Curling Club and looking for more curlers to rock the house. Start thinking about friends you want on your team of 4!
